The 1147 1¼" Oil Stop Valve is designed for rotary screw air compressor application.
The pilot port must be connected to compressor discharge upstream from the minimum pressure valve and preferably to the wet side of the oil separator
The inlet port must be connected to the downstream side of oil cooler, thermal valve, etc. to provide 8 psi pressure difference between the pilot and the inlet.
