Intake Valves

Operation

Installed at the compressor inlet, Air-Con Intake Valves control compressor capacity. At start-up the valve stays open until a control signal is applied to close the valve and restrict the flow.
During normal operation, the valve opens and closes in response to a control signal to meet the downstream air demands.
At shut down, a built-in check valve stays closed to prevent back flow through the compressor.
